MAGic™ is a powerful magnification solution for low vision computer users. Get started quickly with large-print installation. All MAGic editions come with a talking installation.

MAGic is also available with Remote Access (RA). Remote Access software like Citrix Program Neighborhood and Remote Desktop Connection allows you to establish a connection from your computer to another computer and run programs and view files just as if you were sitting at that computer’s keyboard.

The MAGic Pro Scripting Edition is now available for users wanting to use scripts to customize MAGic’s behavior in any application, increasing flexibility and enhancing productivity.

To use the latest version of MAGic, you need a personal computer running Microsoft Windows with the following minimum requirements:

Minimum 1.5 GHz processor for Windows® 7 or Windows Vista®; minimum 450 MHz Pentium® III processor or equivalent for Windows XP
Minimum 2 GB RAM for Windows 7 (64-bit); minimum 1 GB RAM required for Windows 7 (32-bit) or Windows Vista; minimum 256 MB RAM (512 recommended) for Windows XP
MAGic requires less than 200 MB of hard disk space for program and settings files. Additional space is required for the MAGic training materials, operating system, other programs, and the Windows swap file
A video card that supports 256 color graphics. While MAGic will work with 256 colors, it is recommended that you use high or true color depth (16-bit color or higher)
A Windows compatible sound card (for speech option)
Proper licensing is required to run MAGic with Microsoft Windows operating systems. MAGic licenses are Professional or Standard.

MAGic Professional 64-bit and MAGic Pro Scripting Edition 64-bit licensing can be used with all 64-bit versions of Windows 7, Windows Vista, and Windows Server® 2008
MAGic Professional 32-bit and MAGic Pro Scripting Edition 32-bit licensing can be used with the following 32-bit operating systems: all versions of Windows 7, Windows Vista, Windows XP Professional, Windows XP Home, Windows Media Center Edition, Windows Server 2008, and Windows Server 2003
MAGic Standard 64-bit can be used with 64-bit versions of Windows 7 Home Premium, Windows Vista Home Premium, and Windows Vista Home Basic
MAGic Standard 32-bit can be used with 32-bit versions of Windows 7 Home Premium, Windows Vista Home Premium, Windows Vista Home Basic, and Windows XP Home

Note: MAGic 11 or later supports 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Windows 7 and Windows Vista and 32-bit versions of Windows XP. MAGic 10.5 supports only 32-bit versions of Windows XP and Windows 2000. MAGic 10 supports 32-bit versions of Windows XP and earlier.
